A pure Robusta, very strong, both in flavor and caffeine. Richly chocolatey in the best Robusta tradition. Excellent with milk and sugar, or sweetened condensed milk, but is also very low in acid so can be drunk black even by individuals who are sensitive to acidity. Robusta is high in body and crema and makes a fabulous espresso alone or paired with your favorite arabica.

We love coffee. We're a coffee family. And we live in Portland, Oregon which is a coffee haven. While we respect and appreciate all the amazing boutique roasters out there, we get tired of all the 100% Arabica floral coffees that seem to be on every corner, and for a ton of $$$$ too. Sometimes we just want some dark, bitter, sock you in the palate Robusto beans! We blend them with other beans and fresh grind them in the am in our auto drip coffee maker. On those afternoons when we need an extra boost we use only them and make an espresso in our stovetop Bialetti. It's awesome anyway you want to drink it. We are so happy to have discovered Heirloom coffees and get to enjoy what the other half of the earth gets to enjoy! Thank you so much for doing what you do. I feel that so many people just think what we have in the USA is the best and are not truly informed. There is a reason Vietnam is the second largest coffee producer in the world... It's because the stuff is great!
